NONOFO MOGOPODI

Partnered 2020 - Gabarone, Botswana

Few in this world can compete with the energy and dedication Ms. Mogopodi brings to the classroom! The country of Botswana and Africa as a whole benefit from her monumental goals, tireless efforts to educate and her long-term vision that will see her country lead an education revolution in space-related STEAM education! We are so excited to have partnered with her to bring to the young minds of Botswana a new horizon, a new pathway to the skies above. Through our collective efforts, we will develop the nation's first comprehensive astronomy outreach program and go on to design and build the nation's first national observatory and space museum!

Our current portfolio of support includes a new computer for current and future research and teaching, a meteorite collection representing the broad and engaging spectrum of meteoritics, solar observation supplies, books and professional lectures. Future expansions will be the full implementation of a ground-breaking astronomy program for K-12 students in the capital of Gabarone and then onwards to develop the nation's first national observatory and space museum! Expertly weaving technology and talent, Ms. Mogopodi and Botswana will be among the few atop the wave of educational reform set to sweep the African continent!

Keep being awesome, Nonofo!
